Wayne Strout

Born in York County, Maine, Wayne graduated from High School in Greensburg, Pennsylvania and earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Wayne State University in Detroit. He worked for large corporations, starting with General Motors and later moving up to Vice President with a division of Holiday Inns before the age of 30. His broad experience includes working in Private Equity international management as a President/CEO, COO/MP for more than 20 years and 4 years in retail brokerage as a Financial Advisor with a national firm.  He is the named Inventor/Co-Inventor of (5) US Patents. Wayne earned his Masters Degree in Business Administration (Finance) with Distinction from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 1991. He holds the AAMS designation from the College for Financial Planning.

Scott Sebring, 38, is a graduate of North Harford High School. He earned a BS in Marketing at York College. He has held management positions in the dental supply and automated packaging industries as well as being the owner/mgr. of a firm serving dentists in the middle atlantic region. He is the proud father of two young sons.

Carol McElwain Strout was born in Baltimore, MD. and graduated from North Harford High School. Carol worked as a Registered Nurse for more than 25 years, recently joining Wayne in the business as the "Client Concierge".

Wayne and Carol have a blended family of four sons, one daughter, and seven grandchildren that live in York, PA; Jarrettsville, MD; and Dallas, TX. 

Wayne has served, for a term as an Ordained Ruling Elder at Centre Presbyterian Church in New Park, PA.  He is a strong supporter of the Stewartstown Senior Center and Junior Achievement of South Central PA . Wayne and Carol are active Friends of Music at Immanuel Episcopal Church in Glencoe, MD. Wayne is also a member of Shrewsbury Lodge in Shrewsbury, PA. Wayne and Carol now regularly attend services at Grace Fellowship Church in Shrewsbury, PA.

Of interest to some: In the 1980's, in the similar light as industrialist Roger Penske and actor Paul Newman, Wayne was an accomplished amateur SCCA race car driver. He competed at the top levels for National Championships and set track records at several tracks in Formula Ford and GT1. He competed on a professional level in FF2000 in Canada and the SCCA Trans Am Series. He also owned a NASCAR Winston Cup team and drove in one Winston Cup Race at Dover, DE as well as an ARCA race at Pocono. One person once said, "Wayne is driven to 'master' challenges and undertakes to be the best he can be. He is analytical, has varied interests and learns quickly which allows him the talent of being able to figure things out by looking at all sides of the challenge."
